As we have done at the beginning of every year, we recently thanked all of our customers
who purchased Kidz-IDz child safety products over the past twelve months. Whether
they purchased a Photo ID & Medical Emergency Card for their child, played the Safetyville
child safety board game with their family, or even just downloaded our free child
safety poster, we commended the steps they took to keep their family safe!
In the past, when we have thanked our customers, we have been rewarded with some
very special letters that have detailed specific examples of how our child safety
products and resources have helped families all across the nation – and this year
was no different! Below please find just a few of the stories that our customers
generously shared with us. We, in turn, are sharing these insightful stories with
you as proof that by teaching our children how to protect themselves in unexpected
situations, we can proactively avoid many dangerous events – instead of reacting
to them.
After reading these very special stories, you may wish to share your own. If you

I have been buying 5 kids id for my kids since 2003 when they started going to elementary school in South Carolina. I just love how the ID is so well put together that if my child was to be lost, it has all the information about my child...My kids love these IDs they think they are a driver license. This is a good company and I recommend this company to every when it come to child safety.January 31, 2012
I wanted to share our story. My husband has a son who is now 7 years old. We first got Kidz-IDz when his son was just about a year old and his custody battle with his ex was getting out of control. We were constantly scared that she may try and take him and leave with him when she had him, in addition to any parents normal fears of their child being taken ours were amplified by the custody situation. Eventually my husband won full custody of his son, but this just made our fears grow more and more, of his ex, or anyone trying to take our son. We make sure every 6 months to a year to update the information seeing how it is so easy to do. We are thankful that to this point we haven't had to use the Kidz-IDz, but even more grateful that we have the peace of mind that if we ever do, all the information will be right there for us.January 30, 2012
Using your service has been a peace of mind I cannot put a price on. I have ID's for my 5 year old Autistic son and my 8 year old daughter. When my daughter was almost 3, I lost her in a park while pregnant for my son. The fear I experienced was one that I could never explain. I was traumatized. It was shortly after that I signed up outside my local Home Depot for your program. Teaching my kids safety is a top priority in our household. Using your safety products has been very useful and helps me protect my child on a day to day basis. My favorite is of course the ID Cards, however the fingerprinting kit and board game are great as well. More people in the US need to take precautionary measures to protect their children. Children are lured and abducted all the time in public places and get lost regularly. The day I lost my daughter in the park (she was hiding in a tube), is a day will stay with me forever. It was a horrible experience and one that gave me a whole new perspective on how serious safety is. In a way, as scary as it was, I'm glad I experienced it because it opens my eyes to my surroundings at all times. Thank you again Kidz Idz for affording us the opportunity to be that much safer.January 28, 2012
My wife and I were out shopping at a Best Buy 3 years ago. Our son was 2 years old at the time and loved to walk, so much so that he didn't always want to be carried. We were walking around the home computer section of the store and then wanted to go look at cameras. My boy was right next to me for I had just looked down. My wife said she wanted to look at the camera's so I held out my hand for my son to take which is customary when we are about to walk. I felt nothing. I waved my hand, and still nothing. I looked down… and he was gone. It was less than 1 minute since I had just looked down and now he was gone.Oh man my heard was thumping! We both started calling for our son. I ran a few isles up and back and did not see him. Quickly we agreed that I would go to Customer Service and she would start walking towards the front of the store first. We both had our Kidz-IDz out and ready. I gave my Kidz-IDz to the girl behind the counter at Customer Service. She immediately called over the PA system for a possible Code Adam and gave a description of our boy. She then handed the Kidz-IDz to the gentleman who sits by the main entry doors. People from all over the store started searching and within a minute or two one of the employees in home appliances announced over their radio that they found our boy and were heading back to Customer Service. We headed there too and the moment our boy saw us, he burst into mega teas and ran as fast as his little legs would carry him, right into my arms. He was as scared as we were!
To this day we remain amazed with how quickly our boy got away from us. It literally took less than a minute and he was gone. It was an extremely terrifying experience, but thanks to Kidz-IDz, we did not have to waste precious time trying to describe our son. We had the Kidz-IDz and simply had to tell them the color of his coat and were we were in the store. Ironically, it was outside this very same store just 2 years prior where we met the young lady who sold us our Kidz-IDz membership.

Please find our family's story below how KIDZ IDZ helped us in an incident we had. Thank you so much! I hope this persuades other parents to invest in these id's for the safety of their children and peace of mind for them! When our son was three he went to visit his grandparents. My husband and I were nervous being far away, but we knew he was in good hands. I packed his Kidz-IDz photo ID. We trained him to hook it to his pants loop or pocket when going outside home. During his stay I got a call from my parents saying that they had an incident at the store earlier. My mother brought him grocery shopping, she threw a couple things into her cart, she turned around and he was gone. She called for him and no answer-she began to panic and ran near the closest aisles. After ten minutes she went to the closest service center and there he was, sitting with an associate. I had given my mother the dupe photo ID and she presented it and she was advised he was in the toy aisle and brought him to the service center. I was so grateful that he wore his ID and that our cell & house #'s were on the ID. We reminded my mom how fast and sneaky 3 year olds can be and we thanked her for making sure he wore his ID that day.

I received a Kidz-IDz for my son in 2009 from my son's orthodontist. At the time, I thought it unnecessary as I never let my child out of my sight and therefore nothing would ever happen, I WAS WRONG!As my son got slightly older and began to assert his independence, I had no choice but to let the leash out a little (excuse the expression!). One day, my son was "supposed" to be at wrestling practice at his school after hours. I went to pick him up and he was not there. I called his cell phone…no answer. I immediately panicked and called the on-campus police.
I was grateful that I was able to provide the officer with my sons Kidz-IDz. The officer made a call on his radio and provided a description, and a nearby officer was able to identify him walking a few streets away. My son had decided to walk to his friend's house because practice had ended early that day.
If I had not had his Kidz-IDz, it could have been hours before we found him! I am so grateful to your organization, and the good work you do helping to keep our kids safe!

The kidz ID has helped our family and most importantly our child. There was an incident when we went to Sea World and he got lost in the play area. We spent about an hour in complete panic searching for him and just as I was calling 911 my phone rang cause he showed someone his kidz ID. If it weren't for that I can't say for certain that my angel would be safe. When my son started elementary school I was so consumed with the fear of him exiting the school or someone snatching him after school just because someone could easily not check in at the front office,or the teacher may not be paying attention during pick up time. So I feel more secure that that he has his card with him at all times so he can easily call for help and be identified. It's so easy to lose sight of your kid wherever you are and when there little they just can't seem to remember addresses and numbers etc. So the kidz ID has made us feel a little more at ease. Your service is so fantastic and really makes us feel more comfortable when our child is not around us. Thanks so much for such an awesome card!!January 21, 2012
When my daughter was little I purchased an ID card and disc every 6 months beginning at 4 years of age. It has been a life saver for me as a parent. We all hate to admit we lost our child for even one second, but we all know that it happens. No matter how hard we try. We were at the grocery store and my daughter (age 5 then) got distracted and disappeared from my sight. She got lost and then was scared. She went up to a store associate and showed them her card and they were able to intercom me so I could go get her. This has been so helpful because my daughter can get quiet and shy if she is scared and that happens when you get lost. This was a life saver because as long as she has her card with her all anyone needs to know is right there on the card with and updated photo. Thanks so much Kidz-Idz!! I do not know what I would have done without you.January 19, 2012
When my daughter turned 1 my husband and I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a Kidz ID/Medical emergency card. My husband works in law enforcement and knows first hand that protecting our children is of the utmost priority. The Kidz ID is great because it is a hard copy, like a drivers license. Best part is that is doubles as a medical emergency card, so all our daughter's pertinent info is in one place. My daughter is now 6 years old, and because of the free renewal offer we have an updated photo ID of her each year. Life is full of unexpected surprises, I like the fact that no matter what happens, big or small, I have that card in my possession ready to pass along at a moments notice. When our youngest turns a year old in a few months we are planning to do the same for her, it's a simple yet effective way we keep our family prepared, and safe. We also have a printout of the Safety Poster hanging in our home, for being a free resource it holds much value! I like the fact that it doesn't just go over "Stranger Danger" but safety in general-buckling up in the car, fire drill practice, and other tangible info. Some things can get overlooked in daily life, and it always helps to be reminded. We'd like to extend a very special thank you to Kidz IDz for keeping our family safe, now and in the future.January 18, 2012
I wanted to write in to Kidz-IDzz to tell you just how glad we are that we purchased your child's ID card for our daughter. We initially ordered our first one for her when she was only 1 year old. We have updated her ID with new photos yearly...she is now 3 1/2 years old.I want to share with you a personal story on how your company's product came in very helpful to us while vacationing last summer. My daughter is most independent and likes to show her independence. We were at Sea World in Orlando, Florida and the park was extremely crowded ,as it was in peak season in Orlando. In a matter of two seconds, literally, our daughter was no where in sight. Prior to us leaving the hotel that morning, I had attached the childs ID to a necklace/ID lanyard in an effort to be proactive with her safety. Before my husband and I could even make it to a guest services office inside of Sea World, her parents were being paged. As a mother, my heart was racing, worried about our child. Due to the fact that my daughter had her ID on, I attribute a happy ending to our situation. When ever we are in unfamiliar territories, we always have her to wear this ID. I must say that I like the fact that the ID does not display the child's first name, but only the first initial of the first name.
I have personally recommended this product to numerous friends with small children. We would like to personally thank you and your company for such a great product that's sole purpose is to protect the kids. We love this product as a family and will continue to recommend it to friends and family members.

I was hesitant to purchase these as I was convinced there was a catch or that it was a scam. However, I have come to love Kidz-Idz. I initially bought Kidz-Idz for my oldest son Nathan because he travels as an unaccompanied minor to visit his grandparents. I would always have one ID and he would as well in his back pack with all our updated contact information on it. The medical release section is perfect in the event he has to see a doctor while in his grandparents care. One year he had 2 ear infections in one summer and the ID allowed my parents to treat him without any complications. Eventually he ended up even carrying it to school with him in his back pack as he started walking home by himself. What I loved most is that they are easy to update with new pictures and new information. I also purchased them for my 2 youngest children as well who began traveling unaccompanied to see their grandparents. It gives me peace of mind to know he always has his information close by and so do I in case there ever were and incident. I have all the Kidz-Idz with me as well as their finger prints which I keep in the safe for an emergency. Thanks Kidz-Idz!January 17, 2012
I'm a young mommy of a very smart 3 year old. I joined the kidz Idz since my daughter was a couple months old. Everyday we always go over the safety of the streets, in our home, and when she's in not with mommy and daddy.Since my daughter turned one from the day she started walking and talking I was in panic mode. I was so scared she would run into the road, get hit by a car, or even get lost just by opening the door. Kidz Idz had some useful tips on how to totally baby proof your house, inside and out.
Our home, well it's not always the safest place. I learnt from kidz Idz you should always protect your house and family. So we got an alarm system and we also bought a family friendly vehicle.
You would expect when you have a kid that you would want to go out once in a while. There is always a fear though, is the area of the babysitter safe? What if the babysitter doesn't have a clean background? So I also learnt from kidz Idz that you should always be careful about the people that you bring into your child's life. I went ahead and did a full background check, sat down with the babysitter and asked a series of important questions.
I love the fact that kidz Idz does a big part in our kids safety! It makes us parents feel more secure, knowing that our kids are safe!
